McDonald’s gave out pine saplings on earth day sometime in the early 90’s. I got one and it ended up growing bigger than the house. Really saddened to learn it was cut down.

Is a plastic Christmas tree a deception of God?

All Christmas trees are a scam.
Indeed but did you know that you can grow more baby trees from cuttings, after the holidays. Don't just throw a tree away. Try to propagate it. Make a fun project with kids and test their patience 🙂

Those are just a scam, you have to buy them every year. I, on the other hand, buy sats every year and keep using the same old tree.

True, never done that. Old tree, new sats, same vibes.
Christmas is, by itself, a scam: celebrating the birth of Christ on the same day as the winter solstice and presenting this as meaningful largely for consumeristic reasons, while encouraging people to believe that exchanging items defines love.

Once I have my own garden, yes. The real tree will be decorated outside and alive. Since I live in a flat in a city I stick with plastic - no real tree killed and serves for many years 🎄

The best Christmas trees are the ones you cut down yourself.

Nonsense. Let everyone chose their own preference, if any.
