#runstr #dogstr GM, Just about two weeks ago. I severely injured my knee by repeatedly over extending it while clearing verge for US post office unfunded mandate. Injury is part of sports. I've had countless sprains fractures and contusion, over course of six decades. I learned that physical therapy, homeopathy, tinctures, and DMSO are my friends. Yukon wanted to run today and I did not deny the request. The spent knee is rehabbing well. We did two miles and 350 feet or elevation change in the notthest hills of CT; the quiet corner. This is the last green space between Boston and New York. The knee strength is coming back.

Waiting for the partial eclipse later this afternoon. Look to the sky tonight. We have a new moon and Perseid meteor shower will be at peak and you will see the brilliance of the Milkyway. Raise a cup of rich coffee, and smile as the lite shines upon you like a sunflower.

#flowerstr I planted this rose bush a quarter century ago. At the time, my mother-in-law gave me a whiskey fertilizer recipe. I used it when I planted the root. This year, I used a variation of the recipe to make a bug spray. The bugs are nasty since we live at the edge of a state forrest. The rose; she really likes Jim Beam.
