If a bitcoiner doesn't get nostr at some point, you have to wonder if they ever understood bitcoin in the first place, because the underlying principles are the same.

Some are so busy with families, mining fiat, buying Bitcoin, onboarding new Bitcoiners, etc.
Many aren’t as technical as you’d think.

Totally get where you're coming from. Nostr feels like the natural extension of Bitcoin principles—censorship resistance, decentralization, and freedom. Those who truly value these ideals will eventually find their way here... or get left behind.

Right before I went full #Nostr Bitcoin twitter had turned into MSTR degens tracking the company’s rankings by market cap and other useless bullshit
None of the Bitcoiners I know personally take any time to educate themselves about Bitcoin. If they would do as little as just listen to one Bitcoin-only podcast once a week, they would most certainly discover Nostr. But they don't make it that far in their education.
That is hard to hear.
I never got into Twitter and loathe other social media. I don't even remember how I heard of Nostr when I got my nsec 2 or 3 years back (was already a Bitcoiner). But I've learned so much from people here that my life would truely be unrecognizable had I never joined in on the protocol.
Just looked back. I guess it was around March of 2023 that I came on, so almost 2 years and definitely not 3 😅

If it's long-term, MSTR will outperform it. Only a small percentage of bitcoiners understand that, even though it's obvious.

What is the future supply of MSTR issuance 100 years from now, I’m curious? What does MSTRs board look like in 10 years? What happens if the US government goes full dictatorship and confiscates all coins on coinbase being held for Blackrock MSTR, etc? You don’t know these things.
I’m glad your fiat denominated returns have outperformed bitcoin but there are many more certainties with holding bitcoin than there are with holding MSTR. Nothing wrong with that, but you can’t for certain say it will always outperform BTC.
What’s a bitcoiner and what’s a bitcoiner. There are people that don’t get it and have their bitcoins in their coinbase account xD
Nostr is like a hidden cove right now tho, up until a few months ago it was pretty difficult to parse out wtf was going on (most from an information standpoint)

I feel like radio would a good advertising method for social media alternatives.

I understand what you’re saying but nobody knows how MSTR will perform vs. Bitcoin.
The big difference is that fundamentally MSTR is just a stock like any other in the TradFi system. There’s no self-custody, there’s no leaving the system, there’s no non-KYC buying, selling or trading.
If you’re going for performance in dollars only, MSTR might or might not outperform BTC. Nobody knows.
I’m here for the financial revolution away from TradFi that BTC will usher.
