⚡️🇺🇸 NEW - American citizens across the country are physically cutting down Flock cameras as authorities are losing control as more people are viewing the technology as an unconstitutional form of mass surveillance.
The incidents are being described as part of a growing trend where cordless, battery-powered tools are used to quickly cut down Flock camera poles because they are highly portable, fast, and quiet.
Mass surveillance must be stopped everywhere.

Good more of this!
Do not consent to this shit!
DO IT

I don't think this is actually happening, but those cameras are pretty expensive and can probably be sold for good scrap prices.
Everyone should carry a battery powered angle grinder with a cutting blade in their trunk - in case someone is trapped in their car after an accident or something
The cameras in Utah are on huge towers (25-30 feet up with bases about 1.5 feet on diameter) along the highways, and mounted on traffic light poles, with AI surveillance servers at the bases of each pole.
It'll take something bigger than a cordless saw to take those out.
possession after the fact... hmmm. imma just chop & leave for whoever put them up come out to see what's wrong with it.

Next thing you know the political class will call for tighter controls and then bans on sales of battery powered angle grinders.
But isn't that naughty? Naughty people.
To bad they don't care about the digital versions like FlockBook....
Idiots.
They showed the way.
Just don't take your phone with you. For the love of god, these things pick up on everything that comes within range.
Down with the flock.
Cut that shit down.

Doesn't look real but I would love to see that here were a surveillance state.
The tree of Tyranny must be watered with the blood of the Naughty from time to time...
The most terrible news I've heard in the last 3 seconds.
If there's a will, there's a way.
Finally.
Americans finally waking up.
It's crazy how far they've let this go.
In UK people have been cutting the cameras down for years.
It doesn't matter if th poll is made from metal, a fire only needs to be hot enough to destroy the electrical components.

You were supposed to do it with speed cameras, remember? Yeah... exactly, it will be the same here, one year and everyone will get used to the flock.
Noice.

If you have plans ... don't discuss online.
Maybe spray painting the camera?
Gotta do something
No 1984 for me
I never voted for that shit
Cut them all down please!
There are many things that could be done.
Take out the fiber optics connection(s) thatjl take down a bunch ofvcameras at once, then go to town destroying the cameras and their AI servers once they are blind.
I dunno. Mask well and hit them with a Bryna a few times.
The memes say $300-400 in scrap value. Lots of cooper, aluminum and even some gold
Wrong. Grinders throw sparks which are a massive risk of fire if there is a fuel or oil leak. The correct tool is a sawzall because they will not spark when cutting metal.
100%. Grinders remove metal, sawzalls cut.
A grinder cutting wheel can cut through 1/4" wall steel pole. Good luck doing that with a sabre saw
Oh, so, now they will outlaw cordless tools. Or, we will have to register them and everyone with them will be a suspect.
Firefighters don't use grinders. They use a combination of sawzalls and the jaws of life. I promise you that you do not know more than the guys who do this every day for a living. The sawzall with carbide blades is the correct tool among those readily available to the public.
You can't finish your cut faster than a gasoline fire can kill both you and the person you were incompetently trying to save. The fact that you can't grasp the risk of lighting a fire with grinder sparks tells me your knowledge of grinders comes from reading the internet.
As an emergency preparedness bonus the same sawzall can be used for clearing downed trees from the road just by swapping blades while a grinder cannot.
Ok. You win. I'll just carry my grinder and when they say it is dangerous to cut someone out of a car with a cutting wheel because of gasoline, I'll just plead ignorance
On second thought it might be easier to just hit the camera with a machinist hammer strapped to a stick
Drones
A sling shot is more easily hidden and untraceable
Good!
"Cutting down surveillance cameras is a symptom of deeper distrust in institutions—but unilateral destruction rarely leads to durable policy change. Lebanon’s mass displacement crisis shows how unchecked state overreach (and public backlash) can destabilize communities long-term. Worth reading for parallels on surveillance vs. security tradeoffs:
