This is pure retardation. If clouds block heat from radiating off the earth, then fucking nothing changes. Net effect zero. A hot body radiates heat to cooler bodies and/or emits infrared em radiation - so if the clouds absorb heat, then they re-radiate it simultaneously and over time. Nothing changes.
Low and middle altitude clouds do that. High altitude clouds have exactly the opposite effect.
