It's bizarre to me that a nation would use an operating system so easily controlled by a foreign government. Maybe not an off the shelf distro, but even that seems better than Windows. A custom GNU/Linux distro shouldn't be that big of a project for a nation.

We onboarded to Windows. Linux arrived later and we never switched.

I remember how weird it was to go back to Windows when I took a corporate job. It was basically just Word, Excel and Outlook but it made the work environment feel low-grade, antiquated and non-serious. The OS that's being used has a pretty major effect on the intellectual climate and corporate culture.
