When their tech companies were doing well they felt threatened and castrated them. Which started a sequence of events which has left them a bit in the shit. They might already be in the monetary debasement part of their cycle.
1. Trump announces tariffs 2. Tariffs leads to lower treasury bond yield 3. Big money runs away from bonds 4. BTC flips gold 5. Countries starts to print 6. BTC flips equity 7. BTC flips bonds 8. BTC flips real estate 9. BTC becomes global currency

It will be interesting to see how US tariffs placed on its allies impacts this chart. Currently watching a discussion on this in Australia and how they see it impacting South East Asia (who have been slammed by high tariffs) potentially pivoting to Chinese markets.
He never mentioned Bitcoin in his book, but even though I started buying Bitcoin in 2016, it was after reading his books that I went almost all in.
