at this point the rules and laws no longer matter, they will only prohibit everything they don't like.

This is like the state officially saying: knowledge is dangerous, we need you to be stupid and compliant
At this point, the UK government should be blocked from UK citizens, for everybody's safety and security.

The UK is not doing well. They got the digital ID coming in too, not good, do not comply.
Given ledger’s record on security, it’s probably for the best anyway….
This probably relates to the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Financial Promotion) (Amendment) Order 2023. It has to be “in the course of business”, basically if you want to profit, you must comply. Both bitkey and ledger are blocking their own blog sites to UK users in order to remain compliant - probably whilst they attempt to register with the FCA - at which point these pages will return. I’m not defending this and the UK state is increasingly authoritarian but it’s probably better to avoid hyperbole and be accurate. For the time being at least, we’re still free to talk, teach and publish about Bitcoin. I still remember a lot of NGU bitcoiners crying for “better compliance” and “clear regulation”. Well in the UK, it’s here now. Cheers for that.
Yes the facts are important. Not sure it makes the UK look any better though. FCA registration means the FCA will decide what you can say to UK citizens.
Yes. If you want to sell financial services to us. Me, or anyone else not selling financial services in the UK are still quite free to explain and teach how multi-sig works. Like I say, I’m not defending this, but it’s an important distinction.
