Android users are grateful.
If somebody you follow is hosting a live stream, you will see a big streaming pill at the top of the home screen.
Watching a live streaming video does not keep my screen on. My phone will still go to sleep and the audio will shut off when the phone sleeps. Not sure if that is an issue on my phone or an issue with the app?
What new streaming video player? I don't see anything new. I see you still haven't even figured out how to support webm 😂 Reminds me of when you released a new version that you said had push notifications and then I never got a single push notification from the app on either of the devices I have it on. By the way, since paying a million sats for Primal Legends wasn't enough in my case, would you clarify for others in the future how much they should pay to actually get working notifications and quick responses about basic issues like that?
The stream banner on the feeds view grants too much spotlight to perpetual streamers. My entire Primal experience has been monopolized by the NoGood radio stream. Gotta figure out the proper UX for that. image
You can opt out of getting notified about streams on a per-streamer basis. Select the options icon next to the stream name, then toggle Stream Notifications off. That way you will only get the banner from the streamers you really wish to be notified about. image

I love the new streamer button at the top, gives it X feeling but doper. Keep it, love it.

Thanks, this makes managing notifications so much easier 👌
We are going to do it with the next patch release since we shipped this build couple of days earlier than we originally planned.
Thanks Paul, I’ve already done this but they keep appearing on both Android and the web, I probably have to wait for the next live to start, however a command to disable this function all at once would be much more useful. 🙏

Awesome job. Primal continues to get better with every release. Recommendation add a live feed tab for all live feeds even if you’re not following them.
Unless I'm doing something wrong this doesnt work for me on my Pixel 8 running CalyxOS. I've got 2 banners from people I've never heard of and turning off notifications doesnt get rid of them.
Users whose stream notifications I’ve disabled appear muted if I go to their profile, but they don’t show up in the list of muted users, fortunately it seems their posts continue to populate the feeds.
Yes, we can repro this from some apps. We’ll aim to fix in the next patch. Thanks for the report and keep them coming!
It’s a mix, some have stopped appearing while others haven’t. I’m not sure there’s any logic to it, but it could be that it worked for those I follow and didn’t work for those I don’t. Furthermore, there's another issue: profiles for which I deactivated stream notifications appear muted when I go to their profile. On the web, I explicitly see the message that the user is muted with an empty list of posts. However, if I reload the page, it fixes itself. On Android, I don’t see the muted message but only see the reposts made and not the posts published by that profile. These profiles don’t appear in the list of muted users, and fortunately, their posts continue to populate the feeds.
This solution did not solve the problem. They are still at the top of the feed, also the mute function still does not work.
