Going for an 18 hour fast. Few hours remaining 💪🏾 (I usually do 14 hours daily)

Thanks man! I did some 16/8 in the past. But that’s years ago. Haven’t tried for 18 yet
One thing I really enjoy about fasting, is that it removes that urgency that a lot of people have with eating. “I have to eat right now or I’ll be hangry” Well, actually you don’t. It’s all in your mind
Absolutely! It also regulates your insulin resistance which is so important. People that are constantly eating are jacked up with glucose and insulin all day long, it’s so crazy that they can’t understand this concept. The body needs to rest in order to bring insulin down Now hunger is just a hormone saying eat eat now but after ignoring it, it goes away just fine. These couple of days I have been doing omad (one meal a day) and feel super great! It’s almost like a 22 hr fast
Regulating your insulin levels is super important When you do omad, you eat the same amount of calories you would usually eat in your 8 or 6 hour window, but in a 2 hour window? Or you end up eating less?
I eat less def as I get full hahaha and can’t go further. I recommend to do omad when not exercising super hard aka days off or light workout days
Hell, yeah, I do about 12 to 14 hours a day on average. Look into Baja gold sea salt mix it in with your water and drink a liter or two a day . Gotta make sure you’re getting those minerals
I will have to watch this. I wonder if it really covers all the incredible stupidity of the cultural revolution because it is such an embarrassment to the Party.
I didn’t calorie count ever I’d eat a large chicken, big steak , lamb shoulder. Basically big meat - a huge salad with feta cheese , olives , and a bit of home made bread/pitta normally - just flour and yogurt flat beads - did this for 3 years last time - went from 120kg to 85kg in about a year
Nope - but this is key - i was taking a couple years off work - so I was home and had nothing to do but cut the grass and grow tomatoes… it’s bloody hard now that I’m on the road all the time - that’s why I’m back up to 120kg 🥲
Definitely harder to eat healthy on the road. Same with training consistently 🫂
I’ve been doing 14 hours for 4 years. Before that I did 16 hours for a year (Changed it when the first kid was born) I thought 18 hours would be tough but it went really well today
Bro… when I get home from work, she’s like, babe, you hungry? Then she pulls out one, but two woks, kicks the flame so high I can feel it roaring in the next room, food flies through the air, lands on a plate in 10 min, and the kitchen is spotless, dishwasher is loaded… it’s magic 🪄✨
