This is client dependent. Some allow following or hashtags and allow them to be in a separate feed.

Iโve noticed that more successful people on nostr reply an order of magnitude more than post. I mostly post because Iโm kinda just slopping notes and donโt spend too much time on social media but it makes sense to me - nostr is an interactivity/old school approach rather than an influencer/algorithm approach
