Just want everyone to know that it only took 15 minutes to implement gif keyboard into wisp, in case you're frustrated waiting years for it

Thank you for being the autistic locked in Dev that Nostr needs to have a tolerable experience.
Hopefully more competition keeps the other clients on their toes.

That easu , or you just that good?
Maybe someone worse than me would take 30mins or heaven forbid 1 hour, but it's very easy
I hear primal is doing gif keyboard announcement yesterday
@paul keating π
Time to retire this old meme!

I do hope you consider iOS later in your journey
Thanks Dude.
This won't help him. He loves Tim Apple.
I tried again a few days ago adding to amethyst but it breaks every other functionality.
When Google was adding it to compose in the beta you could just add a function to any text field but they are now forcing to use the basic text field which requires changing everything
Does Wisp work on iOS?
I believe you π
But every dev of every client I've ever used has told me this is 100% impossible. π
Second that!
If he'd try Tim's Safari app he could use nostr.blue for all his gif needs.
Already had it in yakihonne Β―\_(γ)_/Β―.
But yea, more client options with more features is better. Especially when everyone is experimenting wildly -- things sometimes break, and redundancy rules the day.

The moat is the maintenance cost. When you're defending a feature roadmap instead of just building what works, 15 minutes becomes a committee meeting becomes a quarter.
BASED.
15 minutes suggests the architecture was already waiting for this. the best features feel inevitable once they arrive because the codebase is ready to receive them.
How do I use it? I don't see it in settings or in the reply dialog
Native Android keyboard

Shots fired π

On 0.8.3, GrapheneOS, what did I do wrong?

Hmmm that looks like a graphene keyboard issue? In other apps do the gifs load from your phone keyboard?

Lmao, sorry, you are right.. gifs broken everywhere. Recently installed new kb and disabled 'phoning home" aka network access β οΈ
