@Rigly How do I get on the #nostr #blockparty team?

Just a #pleb on a journey to #stacksats and free myself from the #matrix.
#agorist, #voluntaryist
I believe #nostr is here to help:
- Connect like-minded people.
- Build a community of plebs.
- Spread the ways of freedom.
- Help others exit the fiat system and price the world in #sats
Sic semper tyrannis
"And where the body of the people, or any single man, is deprived of their right, or is under the exercise of a power without right, and have no appeal on earth, then they have a liberty to appeal to heaven, whenever they judge the cause of sufficient moment."

#GM #nostr!
Let's spend this Saturday morning diving into another project helping to #buildnostr. Today's project is @Hostr. An alternative to Airbnb. Have an extra room in your #citadel that you're willing to let a #pleb stay in for a few days for some #sats? This is a perfect solution. Post your place with no KYC, no permission from anyone.
Right now it's not very big, but it can grow. If we want to #grownostr, we have to do using nostr. The protocol, not the social apps. Open the app, add your place, help a pleb, #stacksats.

Hostr โ P2P Accommodation on Bitcoin & Nostr
Book and list short-term stays peer-to-peer. No middleman, no platform fees โ powered by Bitcoin and Nostr.
I bought in for what I thought was my third time. Apparently it was my second. Whatever. Gotta get that hashrate!

I'm still catching up on @npub14kw5...j7y0. I recently listened to the episode where @Avi Burra was talking to @Conduit.Market. They discussed a very important issue that plagues many authors in the #freedom space. Publishing.
Authors have to rely on centralized third parties to distribute their books when self-publishing. These services provide an easy way for authors to get their books to customers, but they contain clear problems.
These authors don't currently have an option to accept #Bitcoin for their work, have it printed on demand and shipped to their customer. There has to be a solution to this. How hard would it be to get POD services for authors in bitcoin?
Can someone explain why 58,000 is such a big deal? #asknostr #memestr
@npub1m0st...40un what does "The trade index is not valid" mean?
#asknostr what is the current state of #bitcoin #privacy? What are best practices? What are the still active #CoinJoin implementations that y'all still use? What is the workflow for getting coins resdy to spend and into cold storage? The landscape seems a little muddled after Samourai.
Fuck yeah. Love this.

One idea I've had for awhile but couldn't thinking a good implementation is a solution to deliveries. I was reminded of this idea based on yesterday's review or @Shadrach's AtoB service. A problem that was discussed on @npub14kw5...j7y0 is giving your address to a total stranger. This is a very real concern, not just for this service, but any service for delivery. What if there was a network of "AnonBoxes" (NymBoxes, NostrBoxes, Nosboxes, Boxstrs; whatever you wanna call it) where local #plebs accept packages at their home or business.
There are a lot of issues to consider, but I think it could be 100% doable. You go to a site, put in a zip or geohash, see a list of registered "boxes". You pay a small fee. The real address is shown and you give your npub and maybe the name it will be delivered under. You order what you need to. Put in the delivery address. Once delivered, you pick up the package and sign for the delivery with your nsec. The funds are then released to the box holder.

For those out there who #buildnostr, do you think it would be a net positive to have some kind of platform available for people who can't code (me) but have great ideas on how to build the #secondrealm with #nostr to post really cool concepts that devs can be inspired by?
I ask because I have quite a few ideas for services that could serve the #paralleleconomy that I just don't have the chops to build. I'd love to have a place where I could toss the idea out there and let the #cypherpunk #nostriches have a field day. It could even be incentive based where people can throw some sats at the project to incentivise a dev or dev team to grab it.
For example, a #pleb has an idea for an app that would solve problem x. They post it in this repository. Other #plebs see it. They throw some #sats at the ideas they like or want to see. Devs can see projects and take them on. Upon completion, they get the sats. Just an idea. An idea which would be great to post in said repository.
Am I makin' sense?
Today's project(s) is/are a little different. Everyday I go into @Zapstore and just look at the recents section to see what is new or newly updated. Sometimes I find a real peach ๐, or in this case a pear ๐. These apps are a collection from @PeerLoom LLC. Their "pear suite" of apps are great alternatives to their fiat counterparts. Their published apps include: PearCircle, PearCal, and PearGuard.
PearCircle is one that I personally like as I was trying to find just this type of solution. PearCircle is the #sovereign, #P2P alternative to Live360. Keep track of the people within your circles without a centralized server peeking their eyes on all your activity. PearCircle allows you to add people to your circle and see where they are. Spouse, kids, your uncle who gets drunk and wanders; add them to your circle.
PeerGuard is atool that allows you to put parental controls on your child's phone. Manage screen time and app access privately from your device. No middleman.
Finally, PeerCal. Share events with other people just like you would Google calendar or any another shitty big tech calendar app. All your data stays on your device.
Just a few more solutions to make you a more sovereign #pleb. Stay tuned for more highlights. If you have any suggestions, let me know!

I'm feeling really #bullish today. On everything. #Bitcoin, #nostr; the whole bit. I'm really thinking of starting a #meetup in my area. The #secondrealm is sparse here. It could use some #sovereignty.
I forgot to mention the developer of this great project: @Shadrach

Today'shighlight is going to be for #Catallax. Catallax is a sovereign, decentralized solution to the gig econony. Do what you love, do what your good at. Get paid. No permission from anybody. Simply connect with people looking for work to be done and negotiate with them. Keep the financual transaction secure and honest with third party arbitraters. Wrap all that in a reputation system, and you have a counter econony. Brulliant work from @vinney...axkl.
The project is still in development, but I think it's a great step in the right direction.
