Someone shared with me a video outlining the concept of a “digital garden” recently and I’ve been deep in this rabbit hole of how informational sharing over the internet has evolved over the years since. I think moving away from feed-centered social media could be a way for nostr to stand out.
Could something like https://www.are.na/ be built on top of nostr? #asknostr

I completely agree
It would be great to see a nostr client centered around organizing relevant ideas in a way that makes them explorable, for example a client where ideas coming directly or indirectly from books form a network of knowledge snippets that can be explored in a non-feed centric way
I wonder if Digit would find this interesting too 🤔
Yes! The link I shared in the note above is exactly that. It even has a dope ass browser extension that I think is a model for a next generation nostr extension. I think the smart widgets on nostr:npub1yzvxlwp7wawed5vgefwfmugvumtp8c8t0etk3g8sky4n0ndvyxesnxrf8q are a good step in the direction of organizing relevant ideas in a compact and easily shareable way.
I hope nostr:npub1wmr34t36fy03m8hvgl96zl3znndyzyaqhwmwdtshwmtkg03fetaqhjg240 and nostr:npub1l2vyh47mk2p0qlsku7hg0vn29faehy9hy34ygaclpn66ukqp3afqutajft see this.
Free minds think alike 😎 did you get a chance to glance at https://www.are.na/? I’m already thinking of the new event kinds that would come from building this style of nostr client. No vanity metrics, no addictive scrolling feed, just pure signal.
They probably would!! 🤪
Yea I'm quite familiar with arena. The founder was on our podcast: https://blog.vaporware.network/podcasts/episode-4-charles-cab-broskoski/
It would make a great format for Nostr
