Be me. Have a house ✅ Have kids ✅ Fly first class ✅ You can have it all friends. You truly can. You just gotta ignore dumb old cat ladies. image

Yeah and now these “cat ladies” love to come to first class with their pets and show them off. Go semi-private shhh don’t tell them

Wow, she compares having a family to flying first class. I feel so sorry for her. 🤦🏻‍♀️

There’s a trick though. It’s just a matter of informed choice! image
Ignore Alexa also. I rarely fly business/first unless it was work related and for longer or overnight flights across the pond. I caught a pod upgrade to Australia (22 hours flying) once, and that was fantastic— for work. International flights for 5+ hours that offer Premium Economy is worth looking into for in between value although some airlines have various Premium Letter codes like United so be careful. I think their Premium+ is the good one. It depends who is paying, how long, cost, and the time— and sure, affordability. Flying business for every flight— is it necessary? But you’re also likely free to choose so your choice— all good.

Remember that scene in Home Alone where they are taking off for Paris in first class and the kids are all back of the bus? Dream big western man.

In short flights (<8h)? No Problem, give me the cheapest seat possible! On long flights (e.g. 16 h for a family visit in Vietnam)? Here I will never again compromise... business class please!

Business class with kids, game changer! Worth every penny! Private is the ultimate goal! 😎
The woman is right, you must be in 1st world to dream that you can have it all. Life does not work linear for everyone. It's either or for rest oft he world. It's not dreams, it's the reality that shapes the future.
The idea of trading a seat in first class for childlessness is so absurd not just because it's a false choice (obviously) but because it's like saying I want to lease a bugatti instead of having friends, only much worse.
Ya, but trying has its own immediate benefits. If it takes a while, try not to let it stress you out, I know it's easy to say, but people can get down on themselves, especially the wives, if it takes a while. And it's good to remember that it's not in our hands in some sense..and if it comes to it there are medical interventions that have come so far.
Yea its not been easy especially for her but I am always telling her to have faith it's going happen and that plenty people have gone through the same and have had kids. Also like you said there is a lot of options now medically to help. Which we will go that route later this year if nothing happens by then. Its something becoming very common lately because a lot of people held off having kids while young.
It's a bummer that people aren't trying younger. Obviously a big topic, but as someone who has been trying to get his own faith back fwiw, I'll keep you and yours in my attempted prayers.
