Its wild we are at a point in Bitcoin filter discourse that a failed day trading instructor is seen as a credible authority to make comments on bitcoin development. Its all gutter tier TMZ drama reporting on people, no technical merits (because they chose to not understand). Can't block on Nostr Kratter 😘 View quoted note →

See the compromised Core devs who rejected Luke's PR that fixes inscription spam. They are the bad actors (the NACKers) They revealed themselves with their public comments on OP_RETRUN being dishonest and manipulative. The guys that ACKed are the good guys we have. image https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/pull/28408 https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/issues/29187 Bitcoin Knots has fixed those issues.

Feel free to skip the ad hominem and address how making it so large blobs of contiguous CSAM is not a significant risk to Bitcoin. Appealing to authority is not a good reason to support spam. Learned nothing from Covid
Kratter is the one doing ad hominem my guy. The whole point is there isn’t a technical argument being put forth.

Because the corrupted compromised Core devs allowed inscription spam by rejecting Luke's fix. Hate to break it to you but its fixed in Bitcoin Knots.

So core never attacked Luke or anyone opposing them? Innocent angels, every one.
Everyone sins, the point is those who don’t have a technical argument going into the personal lives of people they disagree with are wrong to do so.
You're proud that core is destroying any chance of preventing spam? Why does that seem to make you happy?
Szabo and Samson with technical merit presented their points in the current drama; why don’t you focus your energy there rather than ad hominem attacks.

Core didn’t give a damn about honest discussion — they just bulldozed ahead, slamming the commit and merge buttons like they are the only ones with a keyboard. Welcome to the nerdocracy, where dissent is a bug and control is a feature.

I just spent five days at my first Bitcoin conference, @btcplusplus. There was essentially no mention of the price of Bitcoin, or about this filter podcaster thing, apart from one or two subtle jokes about it 🙂 Just pure signal at the conference My point is that, from what I can see, most technical people just find this boring or silly

Be interested in what this does to Ocean hash rate, I’m sure the intention was to attract more - not so sure that strategy is going to work.
its funny how core people keep thinking they are the technical ones, understanding everything. while they are the bitcoin midwits, who can't comprehend shit, and make 0 technical sense. even after hours of people explaining them how they make no sense.
High-level central bankers ‘day-trade’ economies into clownworld with their endless money-printing presses, hyperinflating us all while bailing out the suits. At least Kratter’s not crashing nations. Technical merits? That’s your echo chamber’s blind spot, gossip goblin. And now you’re begging for filters on Nostr? 😂🤣
It's wild how the same people who advocate for allowing child porn to be hosting on the blockchain think they are smarter than everyone else. How the Fuck does making it more expensive to run nodes and potentially(inevitably) making it illegal to run nodes help anyone? Anyone outside of the Bitcoin who want to prevent adoption or centralise control obviously, those people clearly benefit.
The technical argument : Allowing spam on the blockchain makes it more expensive to run a node. It also creates the potential for bad actors to share child abuse material malware and other harmful stuff which would make it illegal to run a bitcoin node in most places.
