💯 Sometimes (often times?) the best response to people is to just stop giving them access to you. Their issues are not your issues by default, no matter how much they want them to be.
I had a mentor tell me recently:
Sometimes people are in a boat, shouting at you, and it’s slowly sinking, whilst you’re on the shore, relaxed, and making progress, yet even when you throw them a rope, they ignore it, and carry on shouting
Point being: the game they’re playing is theirs, and even logic doesn’t hold up, so crack on with island life, and don’t get bogged down in their BS
