image I have spent my whole career watching coders being almost worshiped and having money thrown at them and walking around like they held secret knowledge thinking they're wizards. Its fucking ridiculous. We aren't at the point of completely automating their work, but I'm definitely here to watch them get humbled to kingdom come in the next few years as LLMs make their secret knowledge irrelevant 🍿

That was harsh 😂
FIRST OF ALL, RETARD, A TON OF THE WORLD'S MOST USEFUL CODE IS OPEN SOURCE. NOT EXACTLY SECRET 🤣🤣🤣 SECOND, YOU THINK AUTOMATED SLOP IS GOING TO REPLACE HUMAN THINKING AND INGENUITY? GOOD SOFTWARE DEVS MAKE BANK FOR A REASON. YOURE CLUELESS TLDR: CRY HARDER
AI is a tool. Just like how the camera meant that anyone could churn out pictures instead of taking the time to paint them People are just misusing the tool.
But dude now anyone can build an app that would take 1 hour to build in 5 hours while screaming at an ai fix a bug, AND end up with a terrible code base at the same time, isn't the future exciting?
Honestly I am sick of hearing all the "ai experts" and non devs talk about how all devs will be replaced by prompts and vibe coders, even a ton of bitcoiners talk the same.
I'll do some, but never 100% and then deploy. People that fully trust AI code simply should not. The security implications from some if it are terrifying. It can be a good tool, but again, I'd never fully trust it. At least not yet
✅ Actual devs using it as a tool to be efficient, etc. Makes sense. ❌ Nostr “devs” pushing out piece of shit after piece of shit app as if they’re building something amazing is retarded.
Unfortunately the vibe coded nostr cemetery is also a part of the cemetery: inception 👀 🤣🤣🤣

First of all, douche, if you had actually taken time to read the comment, he said they walked around LIKE they have a secret knowledge, not that they actually have one. Second, he said we aren’t at the point of completely automating their work, which is true. We are seeing some aspects of “automated slop” (for better or worse) replacing authentic human thinking and ingenuity. For you to assume that human thinking is valued in all businesses and software realms, is frankly naive. I don’t believe AI will ever truly replace software devs, but you can’t ignore data and the data is already showing software dev job demand is down, salaries are down, and growth is down. TLDR: if you’re going to reply like an ass and call people clueless…maybe don’t sound clueless yourself. ✌🏽
