I have a belief that Sonic the fast food company survives in 2025 due to its parasitic relationship with, and false belief by small children that it's somehow related to Sonic the Hedgehog the video game.

that's the first thing that came to my mind when you said Sonic, I'd go eat there to investigate the name and see if maybe I could find anything related to sonic the hedgehog, then if I don't I'd probably eat there again every so often
This is incorrect. They have a solid fast food menu and also literally any drive thru that survived pre covid should be able to survive in the COVID era
The only thing going for Sonic. Their food is just not good 😬
