If you are a streamer. What do you think about this idea? Viewers will be able to zap while watching your stream on Stream Road. The viewers can zap you via PayPal, Credit Cards, Bitcoin. The money will be automatically converted into zaps. The streamer won't know the difference. Is it a good idea? For a streamer, It's actually a very good idea. I'm surprised they haven't made payouts out PayPal too. As an administrator running the website. I wouldn't bother. It's too much annoyance. I am a Bitcoin only person but good luck to Stream Road, very interesting. Will you be moving over from Zap Stream and LFL over to Stream Road? I have no intention but I will keep an eye on it. I started muting all the 24/7 streamers from amethyst and now there is only like one real live streamer. ๐Ÿ˜‚

On Zap Stream if you click on a live stream then click on their profile there is a mute button but it doesn't work. Nothing happens when I click on it. There's no way for me to mute the 24/7 fake live streamers. I'm going to report this bug on GitHub.

chatgpt says GIF files are "technically" IMAGE files but I disagree! They are GIFs and don't belong in the images section.

There is a lot of fake live streamers on nostr. I'm going to have to start muting them all. I never thought of actually muting them. I think twitch made them label their streams as [24/7][RE-RUN] I haven't actually thought of a solution other than start muting them. The 24/7 fake live streamers are good for testing zaps tho when there isn't any real live streamers.

I started following @Stream Road to keep updated about their new website but now I have to unfollow them because their using that npub as the stream publisher so users like @Scardust Official stream 24/7 and the live notification on my amethyst app is always going to be there and there isn't a what get rid of it. The @streamstr backend is the same thing. They are using the npub for both promotion and as a stream publisher backend. So I had to unfollow it because the stream notifications are always on my app amethyst at the top and even if you aren't following the steamer it will tell you they are live because they are using that npub. I think LFL uses two different ones and I think zap stream might also but zap stream doesn't seem to use that npub as a promotion npub. It sucks because I can't follow that npub. This is not their fault since nostr is new and users are learning how to manage live streaming.

Here's another site you can watch/live stream from but prepare yourselves there is some scary fiat stuff on that website. I didn't like that part. Zap stream is still my favorite website to watch streams from and to live stream from my favorite is LFL. If I was to IRL live stream I'd probably use the shosho app. Many options! primal automatically detects when you have a nostr extension and sends a bunch of signing request popups. Really a annoying. That's the equivalent of trying to force you to login in as soon as you visit their website. Don't do that if you are building a nostr site. Just put a login button and let the user decide.

I need a better solution on using lightning because my 200 USD in lightning channels is stuck on my BTCPay Server through RTL. I can move it out if I do like 50 USD each time but that's annoying. ๐Ÿ˜–

On farcry 4, I'm at 90% done at 90 hours of gameplay. So another 10 hours and I'll be done. Stream says I'm at 124 hours. I think steam starts counting as soon as you launch the game.. Im bored tho. I like walking around getting into adventures. ๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿ˜‚

I can't send out 100 USD from my BTCPay RTL because I always get a no route! So annoying. Anything smaller I can send out. I have like 6 channels open. Why is RTL is complicated.

There should be a standard amoung all nostr clients so users get a badge of the client they are using and can be seen from all clients if the client adds it. That would be good for statistics and other things.

Amethyst should have an optional subscription monthly payment which gives you an amethyst paying member badge and then you are listed in the global feed. Those who don't have a subscription aren't listed in the global feed. That would fix the global feed which is full of trash and un-readable. View quoted note โ†’

I think user's profiles on amethyst's need an update to make it more beautiful. Is it really necessary to see the npub and nprofile text? It should be too small copy buttons or put it in the nav.. Most users dont need to see them. It's takes up valuable space. The profiles are really boring, i find.

Primal needs to redo their badges. They have a gray, blue, purple, gold badge beside everyone's username. The gray doesn't fit in or make sense because the gray one means they are nip-05 verified but the other color badges mean they have a primal subscription or have had one in the past. The blue badge I actually don't know what it means. Why didn't amethyst give me a badge? I want to express that I am an amethyst fan.

Primal has a grey badge with a checkmark in it, to the right of users username. It doesn't make sense. What exactly does it mean? From my investigation it means the have a valid nip-05 address. They copied X/Facebook. On X/Facebook it makes sense because it means you are verified to be a real person. Then on nostr it means you have a verified nip-05. I don't think a grey checkmark beside everyone's profile who has a valid nip-05 address is necessary. It's not actually important enough to make users see that checkmark all the time in the feed. Amethyst also has a purple circle with a purple checkmark in it but they don't force it because everyone's username although they do all the nip-05 full address under the username in the feed. Which I believe is unnecessary because they are long and why do I need to see their nip-05 address all the time? It belongs in their profile not the feed.
