I understand your point. But alot of people I've talked to cant get over the idea that a bitcoin is 120$ usd. And find them self believe they will never own 1 bitcoin. So if it allows them or fools them into thinking that it's something they can obtain, so why not? At least til more understanding

Yes. I get them from routing, but they are not transactable outside of nodes yet. The fact that your wallet said 2K msats is just the position decimal place. You wouldn’t have received a payment of less than 1000 msats or 1 sat.

For the record, I’m team sats. But the ₿ is growing on me just because we use the $ when in front of cents too. As long as the merchant says “it’ll be 4697 sats” (instead on bitcoins), we’re cool.
