This is not the conversation I expected or prepared to have with nostr:nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7etyv4hzumn0wd68ytnvv9hxgqgdwaehxw309ahx7uewd3hkcqpqs05p3ha7en49dv8429tkk07nnfa9pcwczkf5x5qrdraqshxdje9sgew2ua , it’s the one I didn’t know I needed. I planned to explore what it means to live objective truth (Bitcoin first principles) in a world built on illusions (fiat), and helping loved ones understand Bitcoin; Jeff re-oriented the discussion towards what really matters. For those who need to hear this message, including myself, I feel like it holds a significance as powerful and profound as "in a free market prices fall." I hope our shared vulnerability will unlock something within you as well. https://youtu.be/VQEtAyJnKUg My content is sponsor-free, no fiat ads (demonetized my YouTube channel) so there are no interruptions during our deep discussion. This conversation is authentic, vulnerable, and necessary. Grateful to have nostr:nprofile1qqs9ak7cshtfk8cr22yrkhlmuvmsqt5netvapk4g96y3hs5tt77zj8spydmhxue69uhkzmrfv4hx7uewd35kyun9w3jkx6rn09ehgetdwvh8s7t69uq3qamnwvaz7tmwduh8xarj9e3hytcgwn33e and nostr:nprofile1qqsg86qcm7lve6jkkr64z4mt8lfe57jsu8vpty6r2qpk37sgtnxevjcpz4mhxue69uhk2er9dchxummnw3ezumrpdejqzrthwden5te0dehhxtnvdakqaktkhj discuss these deeper pieces. Bitcoin is doing more than changing the system. It is changing us and acknowledging what it feels like to live out on the edge surfing the chaos requires us to step into our more expansive selves where we are the value. Our being is enough. nostr:nevent1qqswj0d8xuy7s6e84xn4fjlf2p6q8gvmprhd3ckreukgndrhqyyu68qpzemhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuurjd9kkzmpwdejhgq3qtmda3pwknv0sx55g8d0lhcehqqhf8jke6rd2st5fr0pgkhau9y0qxpqqqqqqzkyfv2k

Had an interesting talk with an ex banker and friend. He lost faith in bitcoin since the big players moved in. They can influence the fiat to BTC by buying/selling like they do with gold. He believes that if most of it is owned by the whales, institutions and governments, then we stand no chance. He speaks from the mind of a banker who lost faith in the system. I see it differently but would love to have your insight.

Hey Bitcoin Geneva ⚑️ For sure, in Bitcoin market manipulation is possible, but only for so long. How can someone continue to manipulate the market once they have liquidated their Bitcoin? Because dumping on the market just makes more available to everyone else on the network. In fiat, you just print more money; but you can't print more Bitcoin. The only way to get enough Bitcoin to continue manipulating the market is to create real value. The limited supply changes everything. But I understand how this flips old fiat beliefs upside down, takes a desire to challenge old beliefs, and time, just like Jeff said πŸ™πŸΌ

Loved this deep conversation, it was emotional and heartfelted as I resonate a lot with your questions. It's hard to know bitcoin without wanting to spread it to your loved ones. I found that my preaching was not effective so I changed the strategy to teach bitcoin when the receiver shows interest. One has to get bitcoin at their own time. Keep up the good work.
