Long gone; all metadata is stripped locally before ever leaving your device and also compressed in the device before uploading
It should be gone regardless of the blossom server you use now since itβs no longer using the less-supported /media endpoint. Definitely ping me if you have an issue with the latest build
Who is Fran and why did you have to create a different npub to sign the Olas release on Zap Store, that weirded me out ngl π€
Fran wanted to censor my icon but I went around him and signed my own app release event by hand.

I just updated to the latest version and am still encountering the upload error, as well as the inability to leave Likes. When I press the heart the animation of being clicked works, but nothing happens π

Are to using nsec login or nsecbunker and which blossom server are you using?
I was using nsec bunker, but possibly incorrectly because I didn't know how to set it up and it said I had no keys. Though I re-logged in with my nsec and now it seems to be working!! @PABLOF7z
I had nsecbunker via Amber issues too. I just used my nsec and it's fine as well.
Good to know! Is the comment text when typing black for you as well? My text when typing is black on the dark/charcoal background, practically unreadable, but when posted it's white
Yeah, there are some Android issues with dark and light mode and also some other UI alignment.

Sign in with your nsec. (Nsecbunker has some issues, at least on Android.)
Post a photo from your New Year's Eve celebration π π and then post another photo every day for the next year.
Advanced options: You can also add your own Blossom server under settings if you use a specific one. For example, #Haven users can use their own server here.

What's @npub10las...0ywa and the #Olas365 challenge?
Olas is a Nostr-powered alternative to Instagram by @PABLOF7z. The focus is on community, creativity, and real value for value exchanges, instead of doomscrolling, advertisements, and ever changing algorithms that you'll find on Meta's platform. If you've wanted "Nostrgram" or Nostr for Instagram, it's here.
The #Olas365 challenge is simple, really. To participate in the challenge, all you need to do is post one image daily throughout 2025. The goal is to have fun and promote creativity, all the while creating a rich repository of content on Olas for all to enjoy.
To get started, you're going to need to download and install the Olas app on your phone as https://olas.app is not ready for posting just yet. Here are the links:

When posting on Olas, be sure to select the 'high quality post' option. This will allow the images to be posted via the new kind:20 image type, adding them to the "Olas feed" or "Olas Gallery" in other Nostr supported apps! At this time, these applications include: Amethyst, Nostrudel, and Nostur (soon Primal)!
Please remember that Olas is still very early and bugs do exist!
i.e. On Android, some UI issues exist with formatting on comments, the user profile, the settings page, and several places where dialog boxes have issues with dark mode. iOS seems to be fairly solid in terms of UI.
