A lot of Bitcoiner’s are addicted to their status as loser underdogs. We’re winning. Get used to it. You’re about to be the new wealthy elite. Prepare accordingly.

You don't want to end up a salty npub who got out stacked by the suburban moms once they realize the status symbol of bitcoin and dump all their bullshit for sats!
okay so if I will be out of home and I need water I will buy a bottle of water at double price in some random place instead of wait for coming home to drink, is that you intend as "new wealthy elite"???
The term "nostrpleb" was motivation for me to make my own relay and host my own domain. I knew I wasn't a pleb. nostrplebs is however, why I originally came on board. So many thanks to @Derek Ross The new wealthy elite are all welcome at my cyber citadel happytavern.

I’m used to winning so I can’t relate to the commie ops . But btc is def my biggest win
you're just repeating stuff you've read online. there is no direct corollation between NGU and censorship resistance. one metric is a fiat measurement of buying power. largely driven by speculative investment by degens. the other metric is a complex matrix of technical and social factors. many of those factors are *against* censorship resistance when number goes up. Sorry nuanced argument on social media. won't happen again.
Sorry to hear that. Tough line of work to be in where most people are becoming self sufficient at maintaining their own computers and or they're cheap enough that they just go buy a new one. Have you considered getting another job and being employed elsewhere? Having lost clients, surely gives you more free time to consider building a new skill or doing something else productive with that free time.
I know that and you know that but Joe blow doesn’t. Which means that while the ultimate outcome is foreknown to us, the path is not. Will we win? Yes. Will we win immediately and without opposition? I think it’s unlikely.

Tell me you don't know a Satoshi quote when you see one without telling me. NGU means more hodlers... More hodlers means more people have skin in the game. More people with skin in the game means more nodes. More nodes means harder to censor. It's not hard to follow. If you humble yourself just a bit, maybe you would consider you can learn something from someone else, instead of thinking you know it all. Tell me why you think NGU means censorship resistance goes down. Btw, it's going up forever, because fiat is going to zero and technology decreases marginal cost of production to zero. I think you're projecting with your snarky comment. HappyTavern is me. Just me. Whose built a nostr relay implementation? Who runs 3 nostr relays? Who has a front end to study Bitcoin? Who built a front end for interacting with a self custody liquid node? Who built an android app for tracking BTC. Who open sources all of it? Me. So if you think you fucking know it all, why don't you show me the vast portfolio of shit you built for freedom tech. Huh Mr self custody maxi? I will never know everything about Bitcoin. And I'm eager to listen to those who came before that have inspired me and colleagues who build. But I sure as shit know a lot more than you. View quoted note →

The only thing I want to do with my wealthy elite status is spend more time with my kids and free more bitcoiners.
Stack as many sats as possible. Tell as few normal people as possible. Spend as little as possible. Make as many bitcoin friends as possible. Learn as much as possible. Start thinking seriously about security.
love it, although when you say "spend as little as possible" do you mean don't spend sats? or spend as little fiat as possible? cos I'm a big believer in "spend and replace" 😋
