“Don’t trust. Verify.” applies here. Campaign promises are cheap. It’s bullish that we’re a pander-worthy class. It means spineless politicians will at least claim to support our interests. I don’t expect the cartel of bankers who benefit from dollar hegemony to just give up their power however.
