This wallet is going the next step. Based on the Rust Cash Dev Kit, CDK. Connects to mints without DNS via nostr using Nostr Web Services, NWS. Comes with a mint with an integrated LDK Lightning node. Very impressive work 🫑

Hey Rod, I'm considering it, but currently, it is not. I'm unsure about the benefit of open-sourcing an app that is intended to be downloaded via the app stores since it's trivial to have a private fork from where the releases are built. I have an open-source tool in the works that can validate the encrypted proofs stored on Nostr relays, and I plan to implement finer-grain relay controls for additional security. Additionally, if you have a de-Googled phone, I started publishing an APK, which you can download: https://sovereign-app-apk.s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/app-release.apk Let me know if that addresses any of your concerns about open-source.

I'll add it to my list to investigate, but the app requires a lot of key operations since all the events are encrypted from derived keys (via ECDH). The app is already a little slower than I would like to make NWS requests, so I would guess remote signing would make the performance unacceptable.
