Has anyone ever felt actually good after eating out at a restaurant

No, mainly because pretty much every restaurant that is not a chain is just a frozen food copacker shill station with some millennial slop marketing and a name like “The Baked Banana” Complete waste of time and health eating out at this point, with a few exceptions View quoted note →
Restaurants can suck. They grill the steak, but the cow picks the ingredients. I have trouble trusting restaurants to pick good ingredients.
I used to eat at Swan Depot in SF a couple times a month. I'd drink champagne, drink beer, eat bread, chowder, a couple dozen oysters, some lobster, and crudo. Cash only. Spent $200-300 every time. Felt incredible. Like a king. Took a big nap after too. View quoted note →

Yes but it’s more rare. Those restaurants stick out in my brain. :-)
I visited from the UK last summer and was blown away by the consistency of food quality and the relative good value. Big bowl of ramen for about £5 was standard. Absolutely astounding.
