They're part of the oral Torah. Framing this as a lie though is pretty dishonest, as the written Torah is indeed the books in the old testament. I get the anger at Jews for the role many have played in Zionism but it's worth remembering they didn't originate it, and indeed, had to be cajoled to play the part they have by the European colonial powers -- most notably Britain and Germany. Incidentally, many of these types of tropes are how they were pushed into adopting their genocidal posture, believing themselves to be in a kill or be killed position. Meanwhile Jews in pre-Zionist Palestine even held local leadership positions in peaceful coexistence with Palestinian Muslims and Christians. The Preoccupation podcast is a great coverage of much of that time period, including but not focused on the role of Jews at the time. Much of the original anti Jewish sentiment seems born of the same source as anti-Roma sentiment or other persistant anti immigrant sentiment: the immigration in lieu of assimilation. It's interesting because it primarily has been a bigger issue in the era of the modern nation state, whereas prior, and in other places, a multitude of disparate cultural backgrounds was less troublesome. Incidentally, with Palestine being one of the best examples, given its position as a crossroads between Europe, Africa, and Asia. Anyway, none of this is to excuse the role of those in the colonial project. Simply to avoid assisting them in recruiting cannon fodder in aid to their genocide.
