Much of the original anti Jewish sentiment seems born of the same source as anti-Roma sentiment or other persistant anti immigrant sentiment: the immigration in lieu of assimilation.
It's interesting because it primarily has been a bigger issue in the era of the modern nation state, whereas prior, and in other places, a multitude of disparate cultural backgrounds was less troublesome. Incidentally, with Palestine being one of the best examples, given its position as a crossroads between Europe, Africa, and Asia.
Anyway, none of this is to excuse the role of those in the colonial project. Simply to avoid assisting them in recruiting cannon fodder in aid to their genocide.
