What Andy Burnham needs to do about Israel "This video features an interview with Ali Milani, chair of the Labour Muslim Network, regarding a new 50-page legal briefing presented to Prime Minister Andy Burnham. The briefing outlines six key policy demands to address Britain's role in the Israel-Palestine conflict:
Mandatory sanctions on Israeli settlements (0:49).
Sustained funding for UNRWA (0:53).
Protection of Palestinian access to holy sites (1:03).
Suspension of all arms exports to Israel (1:10).
UK-led initiative for an international protective presence in the West Bank (1:15).
Accountability for British nationals serving in Israel's war on Gaza (1:24)."
"The U.S. situation in a nutshell -
To understand the U.S. position today, imagine that you are running a big business called the U.S. government.
This year, revenue will be roughly $5.5 trillion, while expenditures will be approximately $7.5 trillion, resulting in an anticipated deficit of nearly $2 trillion. Spending therefore exceeds income by roughly 40%. At the same time, federal debt held by the public is approximately $32 trillion, or about six times annual revenue and $240,000 per American household. Interest expenses alone are approaching $1 trillion per year, roughly 20% of revenue and about half the annual deficit.
In addition to interest payments, roughly $10 trillion of maturing principal must be refinanced. As a result, total debt-service requirements today amount to roughly $11 trillion, or about twice annual revenue.
That’s the current situation."
Will the EU take action against Israel? | Inside Story
"Every EU member state is the owner of its own foreign policy." - Josep Borrell
Instead of hiding behind the EU's skirt and waiting for unanimous consensus that probably won't be achieved anytime soon, EU member states can implement their own de facto trade embargoes against goods and services from the illegal israeli settlements if adequate pressure is applied by EU citizens on their governments.
Iceland Rejects EU Membership Talks Amid Trump’s Greenland Threats | Iceland News | N18G
Rabbi Shmuley's recent visit probably wasn't a mere sightseeing or tourist excursion. Since the Genocidal Apartheid settler colony's continued existence in its present location is looking less and less untenable with each passing day, we can reasonably expect that Greenland 🇬🇱 and/or Iceland 🇮🇸 (or both) will be forcibly acquired to serve as an Israel 2.0 for 8 million Israelis soon.
Yield rewards for holding USD stablecoins (with a linked Visa or MC debit card for purchases or atm cash withdrawals) typically average between 3.5% and 8% APY. Compare those returns to conventional EU bank accounts with negative interest rates plus monthly account fees.
So starting in 2027, the EU Is Banning Foreign Bank Accounts for EU Residents. That sucks.
