@miles @jack for the last several years we have been explaining sats to our fiat friends. Let’s make sure it says ‘sats’ somewhere during checkout since a lot of them have the basic understanding that sats are like cents of dollar. What is the point of confusing normies? I don’t want to have to explain to them every time that Square POS labeling is weird. The amount of human time we are going to waste on this is gong to be ridiculous. It's a big deal to me. Paying for stuff from my own lightning node makes me feel like a wizard. I started asking everyone if they took Bitcoin about a decade ago. They laughed at me, but I doubled down. In 2015, I asked a lady at Costco if I could pay for my hot dog with bitcoin. I knew I couldn't, but I asked anyway. 🤣

It's a huge deal, and even the people that are whining about the KYC aspect, then just don't use it, but the beauty is, if I have a Normie friend using Cash App, he can pay my lightning invoice generated on my own non KYC setup. They can pay in BTC without touching it which is how adoption happens. Business owners will be willing to investigate if they can save 3% per transaction... Thanks for all the hard work Jack!
