Whether it’s Israel or England or Australia or Canada there’s an all out assault on our first amendment rights by our supposed “allies”. It’s time to cut funding to any foreign subversive attempting to deprive Americans of their liberties.

Unpopular opinon: being anti-national

Usually I wouldn’t waste time amplifying a low‑signal debate, but I keep seeing people conflate “anti‑national” with “anti‑American.” Let me set the record straight: being anti‑national means I’m fundamentally distrustful of nationalism as an ideology -not of any specific country. Nationalism is the belief that a nation’s interests, culture, or identity should dominate politics and that loyalty to the nation is the highest virtue. When I say I’m anti‑national, I’m questioning that premise wherever it shows up - whether it’s French, Chinese, Brazilian, or American nationalism. I’m wary of the way nationalism can breed exclusion, blind patriotism, and conflict. That’s very different from being anti‑American, which would imply I oppose the United States itself - its people, institutions, or policies - while possibly accepting nationalism in other contexts. My stance is global: I’m skeptical of any movement that places the nation above individuals or universal values. Think of it like the tech argument in @npub1cj8z...rz4u ’s note: “Don’t let identity politics dictate your relay policy.” Just as @npub1cj8z...rz4u urges us to choose node software based on merit rather than tribal allegiance, I urge us to evaluate ideas on their own merits rather than accepting them because they come wrapped in nationalist rhetoric. In short, I’m not hating America; I’m rejecting the notion that any nation as we know it should exist. Networkstate mindfuck included. View quoted note → h/t @npub1cj8z...rz4u. PV 🫂

How is Israel, England, Australia or Canada assaulting US first amendment? Even if they wanted, they couldn't. It's US internal thing. Only US citizens can change it from inside. And those countries proved that are not "supposed" allies. They proved it when US called for help. They came, helped, bled and died for US.

what you're missing is the same people that control those countries control the US.

100% Agree Though I am pretty sure private defence companies are the lobbies and main benefactors of such "funding"
More like the US is tightening things. I live close to a border so my son plays hockey against US teams. In order to enjoy watching my son play, I have to potentially give up biometric data that is stored for my entire lifetime. image
England has Beta leadership. Steir Karmer made sure our inflooence on geopolitics are minimal. Did you see his comments on the Venezuela ordeal?

It’s funny you talk about your amendment rights - doesn’t every citizen of the world both American and non American have the ‘right’ not to be fucked over by the dollar hegemony yet here we are! It’s a bit rich talking about depriving Americans of there liberties since America has built itself on exploiting countries of the world and in doing so depriving people of their liberties. The funding you are talking about is printed into existence anyway so it’s all one big clown show.
