Hey @CKMe or others posting in #homesteading what’s a good automatic coop door that will fit turkeys? Looks like $300 price for anything big enough but I’m hoping to not have to spend that much.

Run Chicken has a “giant” model that is supposed to accommodate birds up to 86lbs. Currently on sale for $240 with an extra 10% off if you sign up for their newsletter. I have the “Eternal” model and it’s only failed to open once, when it was absolutely caked in poop. It’s operated down to 2F with ice and snow. Bought it last fall.

Never used a giant one before, but Run Chicken has been a good brand for our chicken doors.
