Okay guys, I just had an inspirational lunch with @duchess and she got me fired up about #bitcoin and #nostr! I want to learn from all of you! Can you guys recommend the best books to read about bitcoin? @Duchess suggested I start with ‘The Bitcoin Standard’ by Saifedean Ammous (by the way hope he is here as well? 😍). Are there any other books, articles, or YouTube videos you would recommend?

What interests you most about bitcoin? There are tons of books/podcasts/YouTube’s and they cover a huge range of topics. Financial angles, freedom, tech, wallets, nodes, energy, mining etc.

The Bitcoin Audible podcast is a good resource. Search the Bitcoin Audible feed for the "basics" episodes & then anything else you are curious about.
The Bitcoin Standard is a great start and then follow up with The Fiat Standard. @Saifedean Ammous does a fantastic job explaining why not only ourselves money is broken but so are many other aspects of our lives. And it all ties back to money. It's a great read. The Michael Series with Robert Breedlove is a great and lengthy podcast series on YouTube. https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL2jAZ0x9H0bQFY6wIbQfnrnIlqMcSHd6X&si=g1EV9_ov-Z0JJaDu
The Mandibles by Lionel Shriver is a fictional story but is helpful to shine a light on what may come. It may be the easiest read of all the "Bitcoin books" (it's technically not about bitcoin at all) The Price of Tomorrow by Jeff Booth is another really good one that helps build an economic framework and understanding.
It will be worth it to dive into this rabbit hole 🕳️ 🐇 I promise! You will learn how fucked up and unfair our current system is and how #Bitcoin fixes this 🧡 Books 📚 - The Bitcoin Standard (and his other books) - Broken Money Podcasts 🎧 - What Bitcoin did - The Bitcoin Standard Podcast Websites 📑 - https://bitcoin.org/bitcoin.pdf - Videos 🎥 - https://www.hardmoneyfilm.com - Saifedean orange pilling Jordan Peterson is a good one: -
All Saifedean books I would say is a must to read like the “The rice of tomorrow” by Jeff Booth, also the podcast serie with Robert Breedlove and Micheal Saylor is really good. Enjoy :)

don‘t know to much about the usage of nostr, but this is something to keep in mind: „If you've been here for a while, and have created a lot of notes, remember that relays will delete old notes“
Oh hi 👋 @Saifedean Ammous nice to see you here! @Duchess is currently trying to locate #TheBitcoinStandard in #Russian for me (she said it’s all SOLD OUT at the moment), next I will read The Fiat Standard and Principles of Economics 😍!
Thanks! @Duchess pointed him out here too and now I doubt him! It’s a cool place and everyone is so helpful.
I’m interested in all the ways it enables more freedom for people all around the world. I’m also interested in saving for generational wealth.
Can’t wait to read this one as everyone has said so much about it!
🙇🏻‍♀️ Thanks for reminding me 🧚🏻‍♂️ @Duchess gave me a list 🫣 but it’s not so easy to find everyone on here. Thanks again, I gave him a follow.

It's not a long book but it's quite heavy. Lots of food for thought. So take it easy. ☺
Broken Money, Lyn Alden Layered Money, Nik Bhatia 21 Lessons, Gigi Check Your Financial Privelege, Alex Gladstein Fourth Turning is Here, Neil Howe
Wow, taken aback to see an author/creator of a work value the sharing of their ideas more than the financial gain from the sale 👀🤩
That’s really cool thank you! @Duchess ended up finding your book in Russian and gifted it to me. But I will definitely save this and share it with others that wish to read your book in Russian. Thank you 🙏🏻
