That’s awesome!! What were you hunting for? It’s so beautiful today I’m hunting in just a long sleeve shirt and pants while my light jacket hangs on the back of my chair. Stay tuned… I’m sure I’ll be hunting in some snow in a few weeks from now.

Thank you!! What a fun outing with your dad. Yes shooting a recurve is more challenging for sure with shooting instinctually with no sights and drawing back and holding the entire draw weight. I’m thankful to have a compound bow with 80% let off which comes in handy when you draw back when the deer isn’t looking and waiting for the perfect opportunity to release. Easier than a recurve but more skill than a crossbow! 😎

Oh nice! I have a short draw length and low draw weight so I only shoot 100 grain. I found the Rage mechanicals fly more true like a field point for me personally. When you have a longer draw length and heavier draw weight, your options are plentiful. Most men I know shoot 125 grain broadheads. 200gr would definitely pack a punch. I believe crossbow broadheads are typically 150 grains. I haven’t upgraded my set up at all in quite some time so haven’t seen the new stuff out there.
