Zuck is making a move toward less censorship and more free speech. The most interesting part to me is moving content moderation teams OUT of California and INTO Texas… basically just an admission that California is, as a whole, just too damn woke.

It’s like living behind enemy lines out here… but Bitcoin is helping make life beautiful, even in Cali🤙 The dream would be to somehow get this amazing state back to the Reagan years and keep going from there This is a good move by Zuck but nothing will make me go back from #Nostr. All other social media will continue to have too high of a cost to be part of those networks. The cost is our time

I'd move my team to a ship in international waters flying whatever flag is the most free

Maybe a little late but its a good move.
talk is cheap, moving them may help but lets see what its like once its actually implemented. I don't really use Meta socials much anyone so not sure if I will notice
Not that I beleive him, but optics count and This trend has been coming for a while. It’s why I’ve been suggesting a different talking point for Nostr for a while. The wind is being taken out of the sails (at least for the time being) of the “censorship resistant” angle. We need to keep iterating toward a more compelling narrative for the network effect to take off. Good topic for us to cover when we finally get around to recording 😂

I’d say Zucks is growing up. I know we’re psychopaths but he might make an interesting guest along O’Dell, Jack D & Callie
Fuck thanks for reminding me. Let’s get you on asap. And I definitely agree. The vast majority of people don’t give a shit about censorship resistance. Yes, we all agree that they *should*, but the reality is they do not. They may claim to care about some nebulous version of “free speech”, but not enough to radically change their behavior, at least in the short term. They want to have fun. They want to be where their favorite “influencers” are. They want things to be easy.
