Remember that Primal wallet is compatible with @Blitz Wallet . Blitz is opensource and a great Lightning/Spark Wallet.

It was working, but am now back to getting "Unable to zap" message
Correction, it now seems to be zapping, but wallet is about five hours behind and not showing latest transaction
Yes, but honestly, as they say, first impressions matter. As for me, my experience has really gone downhill since I started using this new wallet.
