Yesterday, I had a plumber over, and when it was time to pay him, I forgot to ask if he would accept Bitcoin. But a few minutes after paying him in fiat, I remembered that I could give him a tip in Bitcoin. And, to my surprise, he agreed! He said he didn’t really know what it was all about, but he was willing to accept it. We set up a Lightning wallet, chatted a bit about Bitcoin, and he told me I had sparked his interest and that he would look into it further. I was as happy as a little kid, so I gave him a €10 tip in sats. I love it when people are curious, willing to listen, and don’t immediately dismiss something they don’t understand.
