And what else do the Bitcoin gang of Twitter need to migrate to Nostr, the same people who would scream in disgust if they ever encounter a Bitcoin KYC wallet?

The lie that was told and everyone believed without a fight is that when you purchase something from a store based in another state, complete the sale there, and then send the product to yourself that it somehow means you bought something from your home state. Completely insane. Nothing about the sale is conducted in the buyer's remote state.

The internet broke sales tax. It might be slightly better if the sale was counted on the seller's state, but then you would be forced to pay tax to a state where you may never have even been.

as an alternative we have codeberg, but all centralized services will eventually come to the same end.. and this whole story with ln wallets also raises a lot of questions.. some ln providers block ru users.
