Working on a long form reader/publisher application for nostr. Progress so far

I have a cool update to Coolr. You can now chat in multiple geohash's at the same time! Simply teleport to the geohash's you want chat in: /t #9q,#21m,#br Then you'll see the chats labeled with whatever geohash they are coming from. Then to chat in that geohash, just prefix your message like this: #9q Whats up!? It's also smart enough to connect to the closest relays for each geohash and only send the event to those. One thing I’ve noticed is that a lot of bitchat users don’t seem to realize they are chatting over the internet.

Bitchat users unite! I've just released the first build of my bitchat client. I ripped out a bunch of old code alot of the caching that was causing it to just get completely slow af. Still more work to do, but I think it works pretty well now. You can login with nostr extension, or just use an anon key. Built in spam filter which helps alot. Doesn't catch everything, but its a start. Run the command /h to see a list of commands. I still need to add in some basic things like formatting links, etc.

Working on a re-write of coolr. Spam detection, /block and a bunch of other nice things! Also massive performance improvements so coolr wont melt your computer. @jack @calle

Spammers already flooding the chats. Might be worth requiring pow events. Not sure of that would stop them though. I’m afraid relays gonna start throttling ephemeral events. @calle @jack

Oh shit. I left coolr.chat running overnight the amount of activity has slowed it to a crawl! 😱 I need to do some optimizations. Hang tight. If anyone has any issues you can go to settings and clear site data.
