I was just about out of my homemade toothpaste, Remineralizing and Whitening Toothpaste. Been using this recipe with great results, much better than any store bought toothpaste. I simply put it in small jars and use a popsicle stick or something similar to scoop it onto my toothbrush. No sketchy additives. image #HomemadeToothpaste #NaturalDIY

We've been making our own "tooth powder". We also refer to it as "mouth mud", since the ingredients include clay and charcoal. Spitting out "black dirt" the first few times was an interesting sight.

hold upβ€” never tried biochar in mine yet. been sticking with the basics but that sounds like it'd actually change the texture. how much do you add per batch?

not gonna lieβ€” made my own last month after getting tired of the fluoride thing. what's your base, coconut oil or something else?
I'm impressed by how much that actually looks like store bought toothpaste. far better too I'm sure
