By pushing a heavier and heavier burden on younger generations, all of society risks them simply throwing their hands up, and look around: that's exactly what's happening.
It's the nuclear option, but boomers and everybody living on tomorrow have given these kids no real options.
I suspect the most enjoyable thing they have to look forward to is watching it all come apart.

my wife and i often discuss ours being a "bridge" generation--one that has the potential of getting our children from the zombie world into one where new horizons are possible.
the bridge may collapse, but that is ok. if that is our cross to bear, then so be it.
allea iacta est ⚔️
Yeah, seeing aging boomers rattling around in big empty homes with massive yards expecting full service as they age out while the Gen Z are cooped up in small overpriced apartments is heartbreaking.
Boomers had cheap houses ,you got cheap bitcoin.
Boomers are buying Bitcoin, too.
Young people don't have the fiat, to buy large amounts of Bitcoin.
I'll take on as much of the cross as I can so my kids don't throw their hands up and are part of the solution in the future

Correct. The ones that aren't demoralized can claw their way out of the hole society put them in by saving in #Bitcoin. Good parents are helping their kids establish a savings and will work to help them build a life.
If it all comes apart, I will enjoy the show. I don't think it will, though. Bitcoin is the fix.
Yeah, my kids will be fine, but not all kids are my kids.
Older generations are right about the younger generations. Lazy and dumb as rocks, but the older generations are just as stupid. The difference is that the world is beating America. They have better education systems, don't spend tons on military, raise their wages to keep up. America is archaic
Meh, the younger generations (of voting age) overwhelmingly favor the same misguided and inflationary policies that caused their bleak situation (third world immigration, handouts galore, etc.). If they had any interest in reversing course, I’d have more sympathy for them. But they don’t. So I don’t. But on the bright side, the companies where they’ll spend their lives slaving away, and the debt creditors that’ll be hounding them, will have some of the most ethnicity diverse and gender-balanced boardrooms in history. Some of their supervisors might even be men who dress as women! And at the end of the day, that kind of diversity and inclusion matters more than financial security and personal freedom. They may starve, but at least they’ll have the knowledge that they took the moral high ground and are on “the right side of history.” I wish them the best!
