I saw a picture of a heeler at our local animal shelter that looked almost identical to yours. I considered going to see him.

Beautiful animal, what breed?

The little black dog is a rescue. We can only assume she is a mix of mini poodle and Maltese. A ‘malti-poo’. And the larger is an Australian Cattle Dog. Also called a Blue Heeler. The ‘blue’ is his coat color and heeler describes his ‘line of work’.
