One of my friends who got into bitcoin a few years ago told me he is in a telegram group learning TA and is “swing trading” oil futures. He told me he is trading geopolitical subterfuge and I just said “stay humble, stack sats” This is his shitcoin phase I guess. I’ll see him on the other side after he gets rekt.

So many people complain they can’t make it financially but they really just don’t want to work hard. Nobody is going to make it working a wage job in retail - low pay because it’s easy work. But almost anybody can get a union apprenticeship with no experience. Show up for 3-5 years and they’ll be making 6 figures, have a transferable skill, industry contacts and easily be able to start their own business in a trade billing $150-250 dollars an hour. There is ample opportunity for people who want to work hard. But people want easy and they feel comfortable as victims.

Me and my younger brother and sister started a tradition in 2025 to go on a sibling trip once a year. We each picked 4 locations and my sister draws one from a jar every year as our way of “choosing” where we will go. Last year, the first year we started doing this, Greece was the pick. Really nice country and among my favorite places I’ve traveled. My mom had died a year prior and we decided to bring some of her ashes on our sibling trip each year to spread them all over the world. It’s something we all feel good about doing and a cool sub-tradition to our sibling trip. TSA never quite knows how react when they pull out a little mason jar of ashes lmao but they’re always touched when we tell them the story and they test it and realize it’s not drugs.
