Part of the magic is engineered. Recommendation engines tailor suggestions to what you engage with, which keeps you on the service and coming back. Post about something, interact with it, and the feed hands you more of it.

@paul keating I notice the same pattern with Bitcoin. The more I write about it, the more I hear it come up in conversations offline.
Half of it is the algorithm listening and the other half is you starting to notice what you keep saying out loud. Either way the feed becomes a mirror, and mirrors were the oldest magic we had.
