๐Ÿ—“๏ธ #Iran has now been isolated from the global internet for seven weeks with the digital blackout entering its 50th day after 1176 hours. Metrics show the measure, unprecedented for a connected society, continues to the detriment of most Iranians' livelihoods and human rights. image

Digital isolation harms humans, just like dietary isolation from animal fats harms bodies.
Some highly customized configurations do work. A very small minority of people have access to Starlink. Since the internet is now whitelisted, some VPS providers in Iran are still operational. They create tunnels between these VPS servers and Starlink connections to provide access to the open internet. However, such setups require significant technical expertise, are too expensive for most end users, and carry substantial risk for both providers and users.
But if I understand correctly, internal Iran internet works right? They can visit local websites...etc. If someone would run a nostr relay on an Iranian IP that would work internally right?
