no idea, what I know for sure is Nostr is mostly about Bitcoin. We just need other communities. And Nostr is good at it, onboarding communities
Chill Karen if you had bad experience because of your bad decisions in life then blame yourself stop spreading your virus. If you have the nerve to think less of us Filipinos but you have that kind of filthy attitude and mindset then youโ€™re way worst. RUBBISH!
The fact that an active community bothers you this much is what's actually embarrassing. ...If activity offends you this much, perhaps the problem isn't BCHNostrโ€”it's Y O U R attitude.
I havent heard this in ages ๐Ÿ˜‚ If anything, along with monero users building their own clients now bcashers here this place might get a little lively and argumentative.
Indeed. I wonder though, if any bcashers coming here are going to dive in and help with client development and setting up and running relays. That's what'd really help nostr thrive.
That's not really how nostr works - one extra relay is great and all, but ideally as many people as possible will be running their own relays, in their own countries, decentralising the infrastructure as much as possible. Also, more clients means more ideas tested and more chance of growth in nostr.
What new functionality are you talking about? NIPs exist that cover many things already, so will you be using existing NIPs, or are you talking about creating new ones? Since payments are only a part of what nostr does, apps can be agnostic about what payment options they provide.
BCH Nostr lang sakalam ๐Ÿ˜›. does our noise bothers you that much? hahahaha eyyyy
I'm still, years later, not sold on the use of smart contracts. That all aside, does this bch nostr site follow all the current nips for its functionality? As in, is it interoperable with the rest of nostr? Comments, reacts, follows, lists etc?
Okay, I took a look, a couple of observations - nip05 lookup failed, while logged out and logged in to a throwaway account. That's fixable. I also noticed that on loading a profile it didnt load the follow list, took quite a while to load part of the followed by list and took a fair chunk of time to load the profile feed. All fixable but always challenging in a web client. I'm curious, the way that BCH zaps have been implemented, is it the same way on chain zaps have been implemented in to amethyst recently? Also noticed they're charging for a nip05. Fair play, I guess.
Although Bitcoin maxis don't like it, but BTC + BCH + XMR is the Bitcoin OG community united under NOSTR again. Everybody has their own project. Eveeybprohect has different challenges.
That's amusing - his name is made up of three parts there - any account with those last two parts is automatically blocked for me and for a great many people on nostr due to a spam attack a long time ago. Easiest way to get rid of it was to block accounts that use those two words in the name. Inadvertent self block event here.
