Canโt believe people still talk about tail emissions
you would have to murder me to get my nodes to run anything other than 21 million

Let me guessโฆthe Xitterati are talking about this bullshit again?
Many will miss the point that this still allows for moving the decimal over as many times as we want.
X-rated content.
Never ๐คทโโ๏ธ๐ช๐งก
only a fool would try to change that
Unless it absolutely has to be... which I really hope never happens.

Do you think I exaggerate? Read on.
More and more developers are looking forward to breaking the algorithmic limit of 21 million BITCOIN BTC.
There are many explanations for this, triggered by various causes.
But I think the main one is the increasing centralization of BTC held by bankers, and the lobbying they do with a lot of money to corrupt and dominate this blockchain.
I said it some time ago, there will be another fork in Bitcoin, and the most liquid and powerful one will be the banking one with no limit of issuance. The other fork will be residual and die.
BitcoinCash will continue its way competing to the banking BTC.

1) Remove the config option letting nodes decide what transactions they can accept.
2) Further increase the blocksize.
3) Change 21m hard cap.
BITCOIN IS UNDER A COORDINATED AND WELL-CALCULATED ATTACK!
ROLL BACK THE BLOCKSIZE.
SAME BYTE, SAME PRICE.

Itโs not a problem. The point is that thereโs never a need to create more Bitcoin. With an infinitely divisible asset, any quantity can be money for any size economy.
