Well see. As long as we run our own nodes the on chain will either be popular or unpopular or it will fork.
It's a small thing in this life. My father when he was alive actually built 2 hotels on the same property as a superintendent. 30 years apart. Things come and things go.
The Bitcoin FUD also is not new. In 2014 I wanted to use it. 2017 I wanted nothing to do with it. 2019 I wanted it again... Now I'm 6 years in and I see the patterns. If the majority wants shit, then shit is what we get.
