Christ. So I travel to a lot of small towns for work. And I have this little device that detects flock cameras. They are fucking everywhere. I always wonder if people like this are ignorant to how they actually work or if they would still be okay with it if they knew it was all being stuffed back into a Palantir database that track your movement habits.

He will come around when he gets a $70 ticket in the mail after idling for 30 seconds in a no parking zone picking up his wife from work.

"It was curious how that beetle-like type proliferated in the Ministries: little dumpy men, growing stout very early in life, with short legs, swift scuttling movements, and fat inscrutable faces with very small eyes. It was the type that seemed to flourish best under the dominion of the Party.”
Some say we need surveillance to keep our communities safe. I grew up in a community where folks left their homes unlocked when they went on vacation in case a neighbor needed to borrow a cup of sugar. If coercion and surveillance are your vision for safety, your vision is too small. View quoted note →

The Federal Government is subsidizing these installs and that's why local retards think it is good. They're getting paid to enslave their peers.
